"For,
what other dungeon is so dark as one's own heart! What
jailer so inexorable as one's self!"
-
Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804 - 1864)
A
few general facts from 1776.
-
The
founding father's of the United States were all young
with not much experience
-
Washington
had never led an army in his life.
-
None
of the men involved had any experience in nation-making.
-
The
cause was not a united global front. Many in this nation
(if not most) stayed on the sidelines and did nothing.
Many that joined for a time became discouraged and quit.
Nothing
much happens without a struggle. You have an opportunity in
this life to live your dreams and make a difference. In the
end, it is what you have done with your life that you will cherish
most.
Sincerely,
