ANCIENT&

WISDOM
offering a weekly positive perspective

November
4, 2004
As
always, Ancient Wisdom has great personal importance to me,
and I've it's been a busy week for me and for others from
what I've heard. So, from the lighter side of life, I hope
you enjoy these, and they provide you a stolen moment:
- A
day without sunshine is like, night.
- I
just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.
- Despite
the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it
remains?
- The
severity of the itch is inversely proportional to the
ability to reach it.
- The
sooner you fall behind the more time you'll have to
catch up.
And from the quintessential urban society man, Brendan
Gill, who wrote for The New Yorker for more than 60
years and authored 15 books, including Here at The New
Yorker,
"Not
a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is
serious."
