ANCIENT&
not so ancient
WISDOM
offering a weekly positive perspective

May
30, 2003
Life consists of melting illusions, correcting
mistakes and
replacing outgrown clothing. I remind myself, there is no
other way to grow.
- A.P. Gouthey, 1466
This Ancient (and not so ancient) Wisdom is late (by the standards I set).
My
fault. Up until now I have always been able to hunt up biographical data and
some kind of illustration or photograph of the quoted author. In this
case, I
could find nothing on A.P. Gouthey. I am also sure that this information
exists.
In delaying, I missed my window of getting this out on time. In working to
share
a valuable perspective, I have made it immediately applicable to my own
melting of
illusions and working to correct a "mistake". I don't know how
this could be
called growth though and am interested to find out how it will become
growth.
Wishing
you great and continued success!
Sincerely,
