- Dennis Miller, (1953 - )
Born
in Pittsburgh, PA on November 3, 1953, the Point Park College graduate
Dennis Miller
rose to national fame in 1985 as the new "Weekend Update"
commentator on TV's Saturday
Night Live. Miller's equal-opportunity bashing of political and showbiz
celebrities earned him
a reputation as a satirist of the first water. The puckish comedian
recorded The Off-White
Album and a host of irreverent cable-TV specials. In 1994, he
co-produced and starred in
a nightly chat-fest titled Dennis Miller Live. He shared an Emmy
for Outstanding Writing in a
Comedy or Variety Series and Outstanding Individual Achievement
in Writing in a Variety or
Music Program for the program in 1994-95.
Wishing
you great and continued success!
Sincerely,
