Tap
the Inner Strength of Your Personality
Trust
in yourself

A
treasured image portrayed in movies is a steadfast character
being light-hearted, confident and strong in the face of
great peril. Whether it is the Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles facing Shredder or John Wayne facing cancer in
"The Shootist", we hope to face our great peril
with the same mind set and behaviors.
Realize
that "great peril" in real life may not be so
dramatic as in the movies and it spans more time than two
hours. It may be facing a new job, meeting a quota,
vying for a new customer, reporting to a new boss, or a
change in a personal relationship.
There
are plenty of books and tapes that explain in easy steps
just what you need to do to succeed. They all sound
good, but when the time comes and you are faced with a
situation that touches every emotion in your body at once,
you realize, you face it alone and there are no guaranteed
answers or pre-canned sets of solutions.
So
how can you face your greatest challenge? With heart,
faith, and trust in yourself. Your heart is what
brought you to this place at this time. If this
weren’t important to you, you wouldn't be concerned.
Your faith is in the integrity of the universe and your
belief that life is perfect and you can make it work for
you. Life operates regardless of what human
beings do, and by believing in its sustaining continuity,
you can relax and walk gracefully.
Trust
in you is the final key. You have seen yourself make
mistakes, say the wrong things, and make incorrect choices.
You know and feel your doubts, fears, and concerns. So
how can you trust in yourself? By letting go and
experiencing your full personality. You exist because
you are unique. No other can contribute what you do
each and every moment. Let go of the picture of how it
should be done and just do it the way you will do it.
If that means you are not the stoic and laughing hero of the
silver screen, then so be it.
Bring
yourself to great expression and allow forgiveness, a
principle that permeates through nature, to wash away your
doubts. Although it is a road you travel alone, when
you tap into the inner strength of your personality, your
slightest effort blossoms into astonishing results.
